Occupying half of Cayo Levantado Island off the Dominican Republic, the Gran Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado resort is a secluded venue that draws couples.

Accessed by boat, the four-story resort buildings with their red roofs are a contrast to the island's tropical setting. The lobby has plantation-style décor with polished marble floors, oriental rugs, copper chandeliers, and comfortable seating. Guestrooms are located in the main building and in the duplex villas. There's a gym, a jogging track, and tennis courts. Water sports enthusiasts can go sailing, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling and water-skiing. Those seeking relaxation can swim in the two resort pools or laze on the beach. The spa has a full menu of face and body treatments. The resort also offers a gazebo where couples can exchange wedding vows.
