Discovery at Marigot Bay, an intimate boutique resort with its own marina, is a getaway primarily for couples on the island of St. Lucia.

The open-air lobby of the three-story resort is decorated with gray tiles, chandeliers and pink-trimmed rattan furniture. The white-walled guestrooms are furnished with king-sized beds draped with mosquito netting and topped with Egyptian cotton linens, stylish dark wood furniture, French doors and wooden jalousies. All rooms have a balcony or deck with outdoor furniture overlooking the bay. Slate tiled baths feature a shower, twin sinks, and bidets. Suites have additional facilities like fully equipped kitchens and some feature private plunge pools.

International cuisine is on the menu at Boudreau, the fine dining restaurant. The Hurricane Hole Bar and Restaurant, overlooking the marina and bay, offers casual fare. Snacks and cocktails can be had at the swim-up Pool Bar and the Pink Snail Bar, named in honor of the film “Dr. Dolittle,” which was shot in Marigot Bay. For an intimate dinner, the Treehouse at the Zen Garden is a popular venue.

The Lapli Spa's signature rejuvenating therapies are done using international ESPA ingredients and offered on private decks; the spa has open-air showers in its Zen garden. Acivities include the beach, outdoor and water sports, nightly entertainment, or shopping at Marina Village nearby.
