Just when you thought your Bermuda vacation couldn’t get any more relaxing, along comes The Spa at Tucker’s Point Hotel. The open and airy 10,000-square-foot spa features eight treatment rooms, saunas, a state-of-the-art hydrotherapy suite, fitness center, hair salon and men’s barbershop. Guests are welcome to de-stress and meditate pre- and post-treatments on outdoor daybeds that overlook a reflecting pool. The Spa Garden creates the perfect sanctuary to practice Tai Chi or yoga and become one with your inner god/goddess. A spa dining menu offers fruit drinks, special teas and other healthy fare.
Focusing on international and local rituals and therapies, this spa prides itself on practicing healing and holistic techniques for both the mind and body. To start your journey of relaxation, each signature treatment begins with a Bermudan ritual using indigenous tree branches to massage the soles of your feet.
The Menu: Treatments are grouped into 10 distinctive Collections, including the Bermuda Collection, which incorporates honey, sea minerals and flowers collected from the hotel’s grounds into treatments like the Beekeeper No. 5 Honey and Cane Sugar Scrub. The Signature Therapy Collection includes Anti-Oxidant Wine Therapy, a body treatment that uses red grape extract to restore skin’s appearance, and Glamorous Gold Therapy, which will leave your body shimmering and beach-ready. For men, the Gentlemen’s Spa Collection offers a full scope of treatments, like the Power Ready Facial, Continental Total Body Recharge and Muscle Taming Soak.
The Must-Have: A visit to the Hydrotherapy Suite is a must. Currently only available in two other spas in the world, the SilverTAG shower is a computer-operated shower featuring 18 shower heads that are divided into six zones and provide various amounts of pressure and temperature to the body for the ultimate in massage therapy. If your skin is feeling a little crispy after you dozed off in that beachside lounge chair, the Bermuda Lily Post Sun Skin Rescue is a godsend. This cooling treatment uses plant botanicals from lilies to soothe and cool sun-damaged skin.
