Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas

Relax Roman Style Travel Video duration - 3.30 minutes Qua Baths and Spa Las Vegas, USA Travel Video Nirvana - Spa - I already feel relaxed after having come through that peaceful hallway. Chrystal King Spa Director, Qua Baths & Spa - It is a transitional hallway that’s to allow our guests to leave Vegas behind and come in to their experience here at Qua. - It also, kind of feels like you’re embarking on a journey, coming through there. - It is. It’s the journey of senses, with the water features, with the sense of sight. This facility has 50,000 sq ft. So it really allows you to experience this for an entire day and make it your destination. We have over 72 treatments on the menu, ranging anywhere from Easter to Western philosophy, so you really get that holistic feel and medicinal quality. We’ll just start your experience from the Roman baths, where you can really enjoy that Roman theme and relaxation. - We’ve three separate pools – we’ve got the tepidarium, the coldarium and the frigidarium. These are the three separate temperatures that you can use to plunge, and with the mineral waters, it enhances the detoxification. And then move through to, what I would recommend, is your hour-glass treatment, where we can start with aromated journey that anoints the forehead with oil and then a chakra balancing which really balances the chakra centers and end with a banana leaf to moisturize the skin. After that, you can join the eucalyptus steam room, and then I would go into the Arctic Ice Room to really cool that temperature and core. - Arctic Ice Room? - Yes. Chilled to 55 degrees, it is a great experience. Then join the Luconium Room where a Tea Master will pair some teas with your services - I have to tell you, I don’t even feel like I’m in Las Vegas any more. - This is, a place where, if you’re here for pleasure or you’re here for business, you can come here and relax and be really rebalanced and restored. Anthony Anguille Qua Spa Tea Sommelier - I’m the tea sommelier here in Qua Baths & Spa and I’m here to take you to the tea pairing in the tea lounge. - I’ve never heard of tea pairing in a spa before. - Well. You wouldn’t have. This is actually a unique service to Qua Baths and Spa, where we have individually paired our teas with our services. The tea we prepared for you today is known as Tridosha, which, as your service has been, was founded on the principles of Ayurveda, which is here to balance out the mind, body and the soul, just as your service has done. - What’s in this tea? - This tea is actually a combination of ginkgo, safflower, licorice root, mint as well fennel and coriander. - I love how you have just one little individual cup of tea, just for me. - Exactly. We’re here to continue your experience, as an individual, through the spa and your tea is ready. So please enjoy this one perfect cup of tea. - Mmm – this is the perfect ending to my beautiful spa journey. Thank you Anthony!

Chill Out or Heat Up with Ancient Roman Bathing Rituals

The Qua Baths and Spa at Caesars Palace brings the Roman Baths of Caesar’s day to the heart of The Strip. Expansive and designed in a modern aesthetic, Qua uses all the finest materials the Romans were known for, from cool marble to smooth stone to rich, dark wood. Natural light pours in through the windows and unique water features and cascading waterfalls set a serene aqua-environment that places emphasis on the healing powers of water. Reminiscent of the Roman facilities in Bath, England, which were constructed 2,000 years ago, Qua adopts a social approach with an expansive coed wet spa comprising mineral-enriched baths at varying temperatures, thermal stone relaxation chaises, the Laconium hot room, the artfully designed Arctic Ice Room, and the Tea room, with blends served by a tea sommelier. Separate men’s and women’s facilities allow further relaxation with Vichy hydro-showers, herbal steam rooms, and cedar saunas. Men can indulge at the Barbershop, and women can explore their inner-goddesses with decorative adornment in the Crystal Body Art room. The fitness center features cutting-edge Technogym equipment and a spa concierge to help facilitate your personalized fitness experience.

The communal approach to bathing, healing and socializing is the essence of the Roman Rituals at Qua, which in turn enables an even greater experience of relaxation and renewal during individual body treatments. Services are administered by aestheticians and massage therapists called Artisans, and include not only scrubs, soaks, wraps and massage, but also energy work, like chakra balancing, sleep-health and dream interpretation.

The Menu: The Ancients would certainly approve of the many impressive in-water treatments offered here, from the spa’s Signature Qua Liqueur used in private hydrotherapy tubs to the Herbal Wrap, Dancing Waters, Niagara Falls and Sand & Foam treatments performed under Vichy showers with herbal exfoliations and moisturizing rituals. Other highlights include the Fountain of Youth, Essential Oil Oasis Body Wrap, the Signature Hourglass Treatment and Deep Tissue Surrender.

The Must-have: Raindrop Therapy is a 75-minute aromatherapy experience, during which you’ll be massaged with nine essential oils that will send your entire body into a state of blissful relaxation. Intended to release stress, aid in detoxification and restore balance, this treatment will make you reluctant to leave this Roman paradise.
