Bridget Sandals, Jamaica

Wearable desserts Travel Video duration – 3.46 minutes Bridget Sandals Kingston, Jamaica Travel Video Fashion - Retail Therapy I’m here at one of my favorite spots in Kingston Jamaica, Bridget Sandals and today, I am actually meeting my friend Novia. She is the fashion editor of Jamaica Observer. We’re going to check out what Bridget has new in stock and may be pick up a couple of pairs, for the weekend? Bridget’s, for about a decade, was the Caribbean’s best kept secret. You know, designers would fly in, take a sandal, and you’d see it, a pair of sandals on TV or in Vogue or in Elle, they’re everywhere. They’re worn by the most famous people. And what I think these celebs like is that, you know, it is a best kept secret? Yeah, and they are comfortable. They comfortable, colors, choices, they’re everywhere. I’ve a million pairs Take a peek around the corner; they’re all individually hand-made. Yeah, everything’s actually done right here, on location They’re really exquisite. In fact, they are priceless pieces of work. So you got to see our trademark sandals here. I love those And this is our signature. This is called a rose, which is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful And we have various different designs, like something a little more sophisticated. This one is called the “fringe”. This one is great. I love that one Yes, it’s one of Kaili’s favorites. Great from ankle to down, real fanciful, you know… And I love these sandals And the animal print is gorgeous. And we have different ones. .As a matter of fact, this pair is called “carol.” If you notice, our sandals don’t have style numbers or batch numbers. Whatever they do have is women’s names. Whenever the first client purchases the first design of a style, it gets her name. For example, this is called Carol. We got this colorful number here, and this sandal is actually called Kim. And then again, as I said, another woman’s name and she was the first client that actually purchased this slipper. Now, as I turn over to the Novia sandal, as you can see, these are a little more trendy and these are called the chain. Very sophisticated, very in, very chic. Yeah of course we buy Bridget Sandals as well, she is aware of the trends. Yeah (chorus) And you know, even that for your own... Charm bracelets are so in now They are, they are I love those And they should take them to the feet, which you know... Is very different Yeah the bracelet. You can see here, you know, that whole bracelet detail there. So it’s great. My favorite sandal – it’s called the K, very flexible, very trendy, have a nice wrap of color, And the wearer feels good as well. It’s nice and light. Exactly. It’s nothing too cumbersome, nothing too bulky. Like you say, we like to be colorful, we like to be ----, you know it is the Caribbean .we like to be up and about. And that’s why the sandals, that’s why we got the sandals and keep going for more. And more And more (laughter)
