The all-inclusive Excellence Punta Cana is best known for its adults-only atmosphere and coveted location right on the beach of the Dominican Republic’s East Coast.

The resort is set amongst acres of palm forest and is designed with colonial touches like marbled columns in the open-air lobby. Diners at the Excellence Punta Cana have eight restaurants from which to sample cuisines from around the world. French cuisine is served at Chez Isabelle and Mexican favorites are offered at Agave. The Grill offers continental breakfast and casual a la carte for lunch and transforms into a steakhouse for dinner. The resort offers Asian cuisine at Spice, seafood at the Lobster House, Italian food at both Oregano and Toscana restaurants and Mediterranean dishes at Barcelona.

The main swimming pool at the Excellence Punta Cana extends 800 feet along the oceanfront between secluded pavilions; the private beachfront stretches a mile and a half and offers activities such as deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving and other water sports. The hotel has tennis, squash, volleyball and fitness classes, and also includes a horseback ride in its all-inclusive program. For relaxation, the Miile spa has a sauna, steam room, spa bar, 13 indoor treatment rooms and outdoor facilities as well.
